Six states, California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois, account for 60% of the illlegal immigrants within the United States. In addition, Nevada has the largest proportional amount of immigrants within the state at 8% [1].

Unauthorized immigrants hold 5.1% of jobs within the United States, which is appromixely 8.1 million people who are looking for work or currently working that are in the country illegally. The states with the highest proportions are Nevada (10%), California (9%) and Texas (9%) [1].
